      The latest statistics of Iran’s Foreign Trade in 9 months

      IRICA reported the statistics of the country’s foreign trade in 9 months.

      The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration demonstrates that Iran’s non-oil exports with drop of 2.39 percent reached 31 billion and 640 million dollars during the past 9 months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2017).
      Based on the report of the public relations office of Iran customs, the customs procedures of 115 million and 171 thousand tons of goods including 26 million and 595 thousand tons of imports and 88 million and 576 thousand tons of non -oil exports were done electronically.
      According to this report, during the mentioned period, 37 billion and 570 million dollars of goods were imported into the country which increased by 18.31 percent compared to the figures of the previous year.
      The report indicates that more than 33 billion and 800 million dollars of total imports of Iran during this period allocated to 3900 particular manufacturing companies and known brands, in other words 90 percent of total imports belongs to 3900 companies.
      Main export items
      During the period under consideration, the main export items consisted of gas condensate with value of 5 billion and 98 million dollars, liquefied propane with 1 billion and 68 million dollars, methanol with 835 million dollars, other light oils and products except gasoline with 810 million dollars and iron ore with 765 million dollars.
      Main import items
      The report further reveals that during the past 9 months (started on March 21, 2017), separate parts and segments for passenger car manufacturing with value of 1 billion and 240 million dollars, corn for animals with 1 billion and 115 million dollars, rice with 1 billion and 15 million dollars, soy bean with 749 million dollars and motor vehicles with cylinder capacity of 1500-2000cc other than ambulance and hybrid with 660 million dollars formed the main import items.
      Main importers
      During the period under study, China with allocation of 6 billion and 527 million dollars, Iraq with 4 billion and 628 million dollars, UAE with 4billion and 458 million dollars, Republic of Korea with 3 billion and 11 million dollars, and Afghanistan with 2 billion and 4 million dollars of Iranian non oil exports ranked first to fifth in this regard.
      Main exporters
      As for imports, China with 9 billion and 452 million dollars, UAE with 6 billion and 656 million dollars, Turkey with 2 billion and 576 million dollars, Republic of Korea with 2 billion and 563 million dollars and Germany with 2 billion and 95 million dollars allocated the highest share of Iran’s imports to themselves.
