Export of hide increases as 25 percent
In March 21- July 21 2006, 29 million and 734 thousand dollars of hide have been exported to foreign countries which indicate 25 percent of growth compared to the same period of the previous year.
During the above – mentioned period 7 thousand and 611 tons of hide with rise of 14 percent have been exported. It should be mentioned that during the same period of the previous year export of hide reached 6 thousand and 673 thons worthy of 23 million and 832 thousand dollars.
According to the reports, Italy, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and India were the main importers of Iran’s hide during the mentioned months of the current year.
