1/4 Millions Travelers Processed By Iran Customs
1/476 million travelers processed by Iran Customs during the first two months of current Iranian year(started 21 March).
Based on a report by Public Relations Office of Iran Customs, the number of incoming and outgoing travelers decreased 36 and 21 percent respectively when compared to similar figures for the previous year.
Out of total number of incoming travelers ,5878000 were Iranian while 204 000 were foreigners which in comparison with the last year figures shows 37 percent and 3 percent decrease respectively .
The most part of the travelers(33 percent) arrived to Iran through Mehr Abad Airport.while.Dogharon customs office in Khorasan province with 20 percent and Bazargan customs office in Western Azerbayjan province with 10 percent ranked next .
According to the report, the total number of outgoing travelers stood at 540700 out of which 77percent were Iranian while 153000( 23percent ) were foreigners.
The most of the outgoing travelers ( 36/2 percent )departed from Mehr Abad Airport and Bazargan customs and jolfa customs followed it with 11 and 10 percent respectively.
