Sunday 11/13/2016 Iran and Bulgaria sign Customs Cooperation Agreement With the aim of trade facilitation and transit development, Iran and Bulgaria signed an agreement on customs cooperation.
Based on the report of the public relations office of Iran customs , this agreement was signed by Masoud Karbasian the president of Iran customs and Rosalia Dimitrova  the head of Bulgaria customs.
Based on this agreement, the two sides agreed to cooperate for facilitating trade between the two countries. The two sides also agreed on promoting customs cooperation specially regarding the existing transit corridors , infrastructures of transit projects of “Tehran-Armenia-Georgia-pouty- Black Sea-Bulgaria” and “ Anzali-Tiflis-Pouty-Bulgaria” and exchange of information and statistics related to customs offences, smuggling of goods, drugs and psychotropic substances. It was also decided that Bulgaria customs should finalize the draft of the executive MOU of the agreement regarding the mutual administrative assistance presented by Iran, as soon as possible.
