Following to the approval of the third plan of economical, social and cultural developments considering the necessity of launching an information providing center by the all organizations dealing with the export affairs, In the early Iranian calenar year 1377 (1998 ) ,The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) took the initiative to launch its fist information center in two distinct branches of Internet and Intranet networks with the following address:

As the first step, the manual guide for utilizing the services of the abovementioned network, usernames and passwords were prepared and dispatched to the high ranking government officials, i.e. Supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution, Chairman of the state expediency council, the president, chairmen of 3 powers, chairmen of Majlis commissions, ministries and organizations.

 

The president of Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Khatami personally took part in the inauguration ceremony of this site in the exhibition hall of Iran export development center and subsequently appreciated the efforts of Mr. Karbasian and his co-workers.

 

In the Iranian calendar year, 1379( 2000-2001), Iran customs succeeded in receiving the appreciation medal from the Shahid Rajaie Festival as the sample organization in the field of providing information and clearing.

 

For the time being, considering the emphasis of the IRICA president, Mr. Karbasian, after applying the ideas of different organizations and completion of the required information, the second phase of this site is ready for better use.
